828 Day

The third annual 828 Day celebration will be held on Saturday, Aug. 28, at Moretz Stadium from 6 to 9 p.m. The free event will feature a performance from a local band, Grandma’s Medicine, student-athlete hosted games and activities for all ages, and food trucks for food and beverages.
Community members and students can participate in 828 Day festivities by participating in the “828 Prowl.” Grab an 828 Prowl card from the LR Bookstore beginning Friday, Aug. 20, to get started. Then, collect 10 stamps by Aug. 28, from the participating businesses to earn a prize at the 828 Day celebration event.
Open gym, Pickleball and Exercise Class schedules are subject to change.
