Food For Life: Foods for a Healthy Weight

FreeAdult – Leticia Nichols will teach a cooking class that discusses the role of nutrition and diet in weight management and help participants start on a journey toward an overall healthful and sustainable diet. In this plant-based class, we will discuss how incorporating more plants into your diet can not only lead to maintaining a healthy weight without restriction, but can help to lower cholesterol, control diabetes, lower blood pressure, boost energy and mood, and save money on food costs. Registration is required and will open three weeks before the event.
