Interactive Coral Exhibit

Create an LED exhibit that mimics the phenomenon known as coral bleaching. Use Arduino, 3D-printed coral pieces, and LED lights to create a coral reef that begins as a full rainbow of colors and then dims to white. Learn what causes this effect on coral, and how to start protecting our ocean’s reefs! This exhibit will continue to be on display in The Learning Lab throughout September, in recognition of Enviromental Awareness Month. A Hickory Public Library card is required to register.  
Registration is required and will open three weeks before the event.
