VayaHealth Training Session

Join the staff of VayaHealth at the library on Thursday, July 21 for two training sessions. “Dementia and Psychosis Behavior: What you Need to Know” will begin at 10:00. In this class, case reviews and activites will be used to identify frequent challenging behaviors associated with dementia and psychosis. There will be a review of factors that may trigger behavior with a focus on prevention and intervention strategies. 

“Overcoming Communication Barriers in Dementia” will begin at 11:00 and will cover ways to increase communication with people with different forms of dementia and their caregivers. 

The programs are free but space is limited so registration is encouraged.
