Spring has sprung! Kids ages 7 and up, join us in The Learning Lab to create your own Easter tote bags! We will have felt, stencils, paint, and more! Registration is required.  Hickory Public Library card is required. Registration is required and will open three weeks before the event.  

Adult - Bring your Pressure Canner lid with gauge and have it tested by Family and Consumer Science Agent, Tina McGillvary from NCSU Cooperative Extension.  Additionally, there will be canning and local foods resources including So Easy to Preserve, Edition 6, and Ball Blue Book Preservation available for purchase. No registration required.

Adult – April is National Decorating Month! What better way to celebrate than learning how to DIY your house? Diane Christensen from Hickory Park Furniture will share her knowledge and years of experience to help you plan your latest interior design project.
