DESCRIPTION:Join Us for an Easy At-Home Seed Starting Workshop! Date: Saturday\, February 15th\, 10:00 AM – 12:00pm\, Highland Recreation Center. Are you eager to kickstart your gardening journey? Join us for an informative and hands-on seed starting workshop at the Highland Recreation Center! Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or a beginner\, this workshop is designed for everyone interested in the magic of growing plants from seeds. Ages 8 and up with a participating adult. Everyone will go home with cuttings for transplanting in a 4” pot and 6 seedlings. ALL SUPPLIES ARE INCLUDED. Instructor : Catawba County Master Gardener Fran Whitener. DESCRIPTION:This is an ALL AGES event. This event is perfect for friends\, families\, and puzzle lovers of all ages. This is for Serious puzzlers or a fun Saturday with friends\, it’s open for all!  Pre-registration is required by February 16th. Don’t miss out on this fun and engaging event! \nCompetition Details: \n2-Person Team: $20\, 500 piece puzzle\, 1 1/2 hr time limit. \n4-Person Team: $40\, 750 piece puzzle\, 2 hr time limit. \nPrizes: Top 3 places in each category will win prize packs! \nYou will also win all bragging rights!!! \nRegistration is required. Registration ends February 16th. \n  \nSpecial Feature: \nWe will also be holding a Puzzle Swap: Bring your used puzzles and swap them for a new-to-you puzzle! There will also be a table set up for all day “free puzzling”.  Come to compete or just enjoy building a puzzle with friends! \n  \nFor more information and registration\, contact Lance Riddile or Lisa Miller at 828-322-7046. \nLet’s piece together a great time at the Jigsaw Jamboree! \n  \nRULES: \nEach 2 person team and each 4 person  team will have an identical puzzle. The puzzle will not be the same for each different category. \n  \nThe first 2 or 4 person team to complete its puzzle (all pieces assembled correctly) will be declared the winner in their division . Puzzle assembly will continue until 2nd and 3rd place winners have been determined. \n  \nIf time runs out before a team completes their puzzle\, the team with the fewest “loose” pieces will be declared the winner. \nIn the event of a tie\, a 15 minute sudden death will be conducted and then loose pieces will be counted again \n  \nThere are 2 team categories: 2 person and 4 person. \nTwo person team-500 piece puzzle \nFour person team-750 piece puzzle \n  \n
