Fall Migration Guided Bird Walk
Join Jean McAnulty, a Catawba County Extension Certified Master Gardener and Bird enthusiast, for a leisurely hike to see and hear the many bird species migrating through Geitner Park and along the River Walk.

Don’t miss out on this all-day trip that promises memories, laughter, and learning, all set against the backdrop of a vibrant and welcoming farm environment. Get ready to make the most of your teacher workday with a day of pure fun at Alpha & Omega Corn Maze and Farm!
This is for ages 7-11. The trip cost is $25 and includes lunch and snacks. Registration is required.

Home School PE is a free program for youth ages 7 to 11 years old and meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month between September-April. The goal of this program is to promote physical fitness and social interaction. Home School P.E is held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm for ages 7 to 11 in the Gymnasium at Highland Recreation Center.

We strive to be a resource for the community and offer a safe place for individuals to come play basketball, pool, ping-pong, board games, and so much more!
