Expressive Arts Storytime at Hickory Museum of Art

Expressive Arts Storytime at Hickory Museum of Art

Is your child ready for a storytime like no other? In celebration of the Charles White: A Little Higher exhibit, the library is visiting Hickory Museum of Art for Expressive Arts Storytime – where we act out, art out, and use music and motion to share stories, songs, and more. This art-based storytime, recommended for Pre-K to Early Elementary youth and their caregivers, happens once a month from March to May at Hickory Museum of Art.

Check out our themes and meet us at the museum!

  • March 24: Express Yourself – expressing emotions through the arts
  • April 14: Rock Your Beat - connecting through music and dance
  • May 19: The World I See – using our senses to see, hear, taste, smell, and feel the life in front of us
