Hickory City Council to interview Ward 4 applicants

Hickory City Council received six applications from individuals interested in filling the Ward 4 vacancy on the council.

The applicants are Jerisha V. Farrer, Rev. Dr. Anthony Freeman, Anetia Ramseur Wright, Jarrell Jett, Samuel E. Hunt, and Ittiely T. Carson.

Hickory City Council will hold a special called meeting to interview the applicants on Monday, Feb. 6, at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Julian G. Whitener Municipal Building.

Each applicant will be provided 15 minutes to address Hickory City Council and answer questions.

Hickory City Council will make the appointment to the Ward 4 seat at a later date.
