Hickory Public Library prepares for Ridgeview Branch grand reopening

Hickory’s Ridgeview Branch Library is almost ready to welcome patrons following the renovation and expansion of the facility.

As library staff prepares for the Ridgeview Branch’s grand reopening, the temporary library operations at Ridgeview Recreation Center will close on Monday, November 22, to allow for moving into the library building.

Hours for Hickory Public Library will also change in the coming weeks. Beginning Monday, November 29, Patrick Beaver Memorial Library hours will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Friday and Saturday hours will remain 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. These will also be the hours for the Ridgeview Branch once it reopens.

A ribbon cutting and grand reopening is scheduled for Ridgeview Branch Library on Saturday, December 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. More details will soon be announced for this event.
