HPD searching for shooting suspects

On Thursday, October 8, 2020 at approximately 12:00 a.m., Nicholas Zachary Rozzelle was walking in the 100 block of 18th Street NW when he was confronted by two unknown black males with handguns. The suspects demanded Rozzelle to give them his money and other personal possessions. One of the suspects shot Rozzelle when he attempted to reach into his back pocket to remove his wallet. The two males then fled the area on foot.

The shooter is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’9” tall, slender build with a bald head and wearing dark clothing. The second suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’9” tall, slender build with short dreads and wearing dark clothing.
