Hickory Public Library is a department of the City of Hickory and has two locations:

Patrick Beaver Memorial Library (headquarters) and the Ridgeview Branch

Friends of the Hickory Public Library Storytelling Festival
Saturday, May 12 at 10:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Nationally acclaimed storyteller Donald Davis is the featured performer at the Friends of the Hickory Public Library Storyteller Festival. The event is on the SALT Block lawn is free and open to the public. Other performers include Sharon Clarke and Clater Kaye Theatreworks.
