Standard printers and copiers are available for patron use at both Hickory Public Library locations. A Hickory Public Library card is not required for printing.

Wireless Printing
Hickory Public Library now offers wireless printing! With SmartAlec, you can upload documents from anywhere and print them at any print station at either library location.

Document Scanning
Scanning stations are available for patron use at both library locations. Scan books, documents, and photos into PDF, Word, or JPEG formats and save them to a flash drive or send them directly to your email account. Flash drives are not provided by the library.
Specialty Printing
The Learning Lab at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library offers specialty printing services to the public for a fee. The lab’s specialty printers include one Fusion3 and two Creality Ender-3 S1 Pro 3D Printers that print 3D objects and one Canon Large Format Printer that prints large posters, banners, etc. A current Hickory Public Library card is required for use of the Learning Lab.
