Rotary-Geitner Park

Featuring a gazebo, paved bikeway, walking and nature trails including access to the Riverwalk and Lake Hickory Trails, boat launch ramp, and fishing pier.

Thanks to a partnership between the City of Hickory and the Lackey Family of Hickory, the current Rotary-Geitner Park is planned to be renovated in memory of the late Deidra Lackey. The future Deidra Lackey Memorial Park is anticipated to include a lake house for public and private events, conservatory, memorial gardens, trails, an outdoor amphitheater, and an event terrace on Lake Hickory.
