Chalk Our Walk

Chalk Our Walk Contest is a free sidewalk chalk art exhibition/contest being held at Highland Recreation Center (1451 8th St. Dr. NE, Hickory), Friday, June 9, 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, June 10, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Exciting news for this year, three new categories have been added due to popularity; Ages 3-5, Ages 6-11, Ages 12-15.
Registration is free but you will need to register in advance to receive free chalk, reserve a 3-hour block of time and a 10 ft. x 10 ft. space. Rules do apply. Prizes will be awarded for the top 3 in each category. All categories include ages 3-5, ages 6-11, ages 12-15, ages 16 & up, and groups of 2 to 5 people. Plus, The People’s Choice Award.
