“An Adoption Story – The Emotional Rollercoaster” 

Join us here at Patrick Beaver Library on May 23 from 2-4 p.m. for a presentation by genealogist Rhonda Roederer. DNA testing is unlocking secrets that some have tried to ensure would never be uncovered. An adoptee, armed with a DNA test and the burning desire for the truth, searches for his birth parents and the immigrant ancestors responsible for his German ancestry. This journey ends with a powerful impact on the adoptee and a life-changing revelation for his new-found cousin. This program discusses understanding your DNA results and tips for finding lost or distant relatives.
