Community Day and fun activities at The Catawba County Firefighters Museum

The Catawba County Firefighters Museum is excited to announce its upcoming Community Day, a special event designed to bring families, neighbors, and fire service supporters together to celebrate our counties agencies and firefighting history.

The event will be held at The Catawba County Firefighters Museum, located at 3957 Herman Sipe Rd, on Oct. 11, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guests will have the opportunity to tour the museum, explore historic fire trucks, view firefighting artifacts, and learn about the dedicated men and women who have served our community throughout the years.

In addition to the museum exhibits, Community Day will feature family-friendly activities, fire safety education, demonstrations, and opportunities to meet local firefighters. There will be hotdogs and refreshments available on a first come, first served basis until gone. This event is free and open to the public, offering a fun and educational experience for all ages. Parking for the event will be directly beside the museum at Joy Baptist Church located at 4015 Herman Sipe Rd, Conover, NC 28613.

Community Day is about honoring the past, celebrating the present, and inspiring the future of fire service in Catawba County. We welcome everyone to join us for this special event.
