Eighth Avenue NE closure

On Jan. 6 and Jan. 7, 2026, the westbound lane of Eighth Avenue NE will be closed from Highland Avenue NE to Eighth Street NE for tree trimming operations. The eastbound direction will be reduced to one lane. The closure will start at 8:30 a.m. and should be finished by 3:30 p.m. each day. A detour route will be established and clearly marked. Please slow down and exercise caution when traveling through this area so crews can return home safely.
