First Street NW closure

A private contractor will close First Street NW from Main Avenue NW to First Avenue NW starting at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 30, to facilitate the interior renovation of 16 Second Street NW (formerly Randolph’s Billiards). The parking deck at 1 North Center Street will remain open. A detour route will be provided. Please slow down and exercise caution when traveling through this area so crews can return home safely each night. The street should reopen by 5 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
