Lane closure on Ninth Avenue NW

Weather permitting, the westbound lane of Ninth Avenue NW, at 17th Street NW (just above the DMV office), will be closed July 8 and July 9 for storm drain work related to the extension of 17th Street NW. All accesses will be available, but drivers should expect minor traffic delays due to the lane closure. The road will be open to traffic overnight, with safety measures in place. Please slow down when approaching the work zone, follow the directions of construction crews, and exercise caution so crews can safely complete their work.
