Summer Learning 2022 Join the Library for Oceans of Possibilities

Summer Learning Program – Oceans of Possibilities

Dive into an ocean of possibilities this summer by reading fin-tastic stories, learning new facts about our beautiful oceans, and splashing into fun programs at the library. That’s right! It’s time for Hickory Public Library’s Summer Learning Program!

The Summer Learning Program runs from June 1 through August 15 and invites people of all ages to engage with books, ideas, and information! Tracking reading challenges is easy using Beanstack, the library’s online portal to logging books and completing activities. Beanstack is available on the web and as an app from Apple and Google Play store. You can access Hickory’s Beanstack at https://hickorync.beanstack.org/reader365

Programs will be happening at Patrick Beaver Memorial Library, Ridgeview Branch Library, Taft Broome Park, and Downtown Hickory, so check our online events at https://www.hickorync.gov/calendar/events/category/library/.

Please note, programs requiring registration open 2 weeks in advance. For more information, call 828-304-0500 for Patrick Beaver Memorial Library, located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block, and Ridgeview Branch Library, located at 706 1st St SW, call 828-345-6037.
