North Center Street closure, Third Avenue NE lane closure for sewer repairs

Starting on Monday, July 14, North Center Street will be closed from Third Avenue NE to Fifth Avenue NE to repair damaged sewer infrastructure. Third Avenue NE will be reduced to one lane from Second Street NE (N.C. 127) to North Center Street and may be closed fully as repairs progress. The road will close at 8:30 a.m. on July 14 and is expected to reopen on July 25. Detour routes will be provided as needed. Please slow down and exercise caution when traveling through this area so crews can return home safely each night.
