Ridgeview Branch Library

As part of the City's Hickory Public Library system, the Ridgeview Branch Library provides a wide range of books, media, resources, programming, and events to the community. A major renovation and expansion of the library facility was completed in December 2021. In addition to renovating the existing interior of the building, the project added a new community room with capacity for 100 people, a group study room, and an exterior courtyard area with a separate entrance to the new community room. Two spaces in the library are named in honor of former city council members and community leaders - the Z. Ann Hoyle Community Room and Rev. Dr. Webster E. Lytle, Sr. Learning Commons.
