Trade Alley/First Avenue NW parking deck to close for maintenance

Beginning Monday, Feb. 17, the parking deck on Trade Alley and First Avenue NW in downtown Hickory will be closed for maintenance and necessary repairs. This closure is planned for approximately 90 days. All vehicles need to be removed from the deck by 7 a.m. that Monday morning.

While this work is underway, parking will not be permitted on Trade Alley. Plenty of parking is available along Main Avenue NE/NW between Second Street NW and N.C. 127, on the parking deck located at One North Center, in the parking lot adjacent to Lowes Foods City Park on Main Avenue NW, and on-street along First Avenue NW. Please note that parking restrictions will still be in place and enforceable in these lots.
