Traffic signals out at the intersection of Lenoir Rhyne Blvd and U.S. 70 SE

The traffic signals at the intersection of Lenoir Rhyne Blvd and U.S. 70 SE are not operating. Hickory drivers are asked to slow down and exercise extreme caution when approaching the intersection. Drivers are reminded that any intersection without working traffic signals should be treated as an all-way stop where traffic stops in every direction. The City of Hickory is aware of the issue and is working with Duke Energy to restore signal functionality as soon as possible. Hickory Police officers will be monitoring the intersection.
