Two lanes of N.C. 127 (North Center Street) to close for public utilities work

Starting at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, City of Hickory crews will close the two southbound lanes of N.C. 127 (North Center Street) near 4115 North Center Street to install a sewer tap. During the closure, traffic will shift to the center lane to allow crews to safely complete their work. Please slow down and exercise caution when traveling through this work zone. The lanes should reopen by 6 a.m. the following morning.
