13th Avenue NE road closure for water main repair

Beginning at 8 p.m. tonight (Feb. 29), City of Hickory crews will close a section of 13th Avenue NE between the Wendy’s and Chick-fil-A restaurants on N.C. 127. The roadway will be closed for approximately 6-8 hours to allow crews to make emergency repairs to an underground water main. Detour routes will be established and clearly marked.
