Exciting Eclipse Events

This month, Hickory Public Library is offering the following two events to celebrate and learn about the annular solar eclipse on October 14.

STEAM Explorers: Fun in the Sun

Have fun exploring and learning about the science of the sun! We’ll do some hands-on activities to explore light, solar power, and more to celebrate the upcoming annular solar eclipse. For children in Grades K-5.

Hickory Public Library presents the 2023 Annular Eclipse Mini Bash! Come learn about the sun and the moon while we gear up to watch the annular eclipse.

Patrick Beaver Memorial Library is located at 375 3rd Street NE on the SALT Block. Ridgeview Branch Library is located at 706 1st Street SW. All library programs are free and open to the public.
