Hickory Public Library adds Twilight Tales to its already incredible lineup!

Hickory Public Library is starting the new year off with a new storytime this February - Twilight Tales! Kids will love the hands-on exploration offered in Tinker Tales; the last chance at shenanigans before bed in Twilight Tales; the sweet cuddle of baby, book, and caregiver in Tiny Tales; and the dance, sing, and play of Tales for Preschoolers. While everyone is welcome at all of our storytimes, we hope you discover a new story time to love. Come join us!

Tiny Tales Storytime – Wednesdays | 10 a.m. | Patrick Beaver Memorial Library
Designed specifically for babies to age 2, your little one will explore the world around them through movement, songs, stories, and play in this storytime geared towards our smallest friends.

Tales for Preschoolers – Tuesdays | 10 a.m. | Patrick Beaver Memorial Library
Explore stories, dancing, and singing in this interactive storytime meant for ages 3-5.

Tinker Tales Storytime – Friday, Feb. 17 | 11 a.m. | Ridgeview Branch Library
Bring your family and friends to this monthly storytime that explores STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) through hands-on tinkering in a storytime for all ages. In February, we’ll celebrate our feathery friends Rockin’ Robins—birds. We’ll read some egg-sighting stories and some activities that are a real hoot.

Twilight Tales – Thursday, Feb. 9 | 6:30 p.m. | Patrick Beaver Memorial Library
Kids can wear their pajamas and slippers to the library on the second Thursday of the month for Twilight Tales. In February, we explore For the Love of Hot Chocolate as we get cozy with hot chocolate, marshmallows, and warm tales in this nighttime story perfect for the whole family.
