Signal work at N.C. 127 and 16th Avenue NE

On Thursday, February 24, at 9 p.m., City of Hickory traffic signal crews will begin work to replace the broken utility pole near CVS at the intersection of N.C. 127 and 16th Avenue NE.

Traffic control measures, including signage, cones, and barricades, will be in place.

At certain points during the repair process, power to the traffic signals will need to be turned off. Hickory Police will be on-scene during those times to assist with directing traffic flow.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone.
