Skills assessments are a chance for players to run through basic sport specific drills to show basic skill levels of a sport. All players need to attend a night of skills assessments in order to be placed on a team. This allows staff to make the teams as equal as possible. Skills assessments are generally held about a week after registration closes.
No, coaches are not provided by the recreation department. We fully rely on volunteers to coach teams. Please consider volunteering your time to help coach.
Team assignments will be sent out via email as soon as they are ready which will generally be within one week of the skills assessments dates.
All team placement requests must be sent via email to the program director. The only request that is guaranteed is siblings playing in the same division to be on the same team (please note this when registering). Any other special requests that come in will be considered after looking at the skill level of the team. Any requests after team placements are sent out will not be honored.
Schedules will vary for each sport, age group, and by the number of teams in a particular league.
