Yaidee Fox - Assistant City Manager
Yaidee Fox has years of local government executive and professional experience, all with the City of Hickory in various roles. She started working for the City in November 2003 as an Administrative Technician and was promoted to Executive Assistant to the City Manager. She later served as the Assistant to the City Manager under Mick Berry, then as the City’s Governmental Affairs Manager for a number of years. She became the Assistant to the City Manager under Warren Wood in October 2017 and then served as an Executive Assistant Manager. Fox currently is an Assistant City Manager for the City of Hickory. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Leadership from Mountain State University and a Master of Public Administration from Villanova University. She is also a graduate of the Municipal Administration Course at the UNC School of Government, an ICMA Credentialed Manager, and a member of the ICMA Equity Officer Institute.
